October 2011
I just can’t see how ANY player on Ga. Tech besides Washington is having ANY FUN at all! NOBODY else touches the ball! They won, yet I feel sorry for THEM! NO tea in the NFL runs the option. I hope all of their guys are focused ontheir education, cause the coaches are NOT preparing them for the NFL.
Yankees. Can we please do this next year?? It was super nice watching the Cardinals celebrate, but I want to see you guys celebrating. Nothing would make me happier. So, let’s get the pieces we need this offseason, become the best team we can be, and at this time next year, we’ll be planning a trip down the Canyon of Heroes. :) K? K.

Done in September.
Done last night.
World Series winners tonight.

Rafael Furcal!
A member of the suck ass, non playoff team that was the Los Angeles Dodgers at mid season, TODAY, Rafi was a big contributor to the World Series Champion, St. Louis Cardinals!
Ain’t life grand?
2011 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS

look NO FURTHER than each league’s handling of it’s respective lockout….
nosebleedhooligans replied to your post: Ron Washington’s response to a pitcher that can’t stop walking people…
You got to go with your best pitcher though. His long relievers are shot, Ogando’s done. Wash got outwitted though. For sure.
I think that the fact that Wilson is the Rangers’ best pitcher is most likely why they are gonna lose this series…
Cause, at the end of the day, the Cards’ best pitcher is better than the Rangers’ best pitcher.
Who wouldn’t take Carpenter over Wilson?
Bringing in CJ Wilson, who has a share of the record for the most walks in a single postseason, ALL TIME!
CJ’s response….he drills Furcal with his 1st pitch, to make it 5-2, Cardinals.
Top notch managerial decision„ Mr. Washington!
Decisions like that, are why the Rangers, after this game, will have brought the more talented team to the World Series two consecutive years, with NO title to show for it.

Ben Roethlisberger threw for 361 yards and 3 TD’s and the Pittsburgh Steelers handed the absolutely abismal Arizona Cardinals their 5th consecutive loss.
Yo…Cardinals management…I have ZERO experience running an NFL team, but the next time you think about shelling out 6 years, and $65 mill to a QB with less than 5 career starts to his credit, remember that their are two sides of the ball.

“Just win, baby,” just turned into “Awww shit, dog!”
The Raiders were completely bitch slapped by a team in the Kansas City Chiefs that was outscored 109-27 in it’s 1st three gamesof the season, all losses.
Kyle Boller, the useless roster space filler that he is, tossed 3 INT’s and was then replaced, to the delight of Raiders nation, by Carson Palmer. Palmer said after the game that he knew “about 10 percent” of the Raiders playbook, and it showed. Palmer ALSO tossed 3 INT’s, and the Raiders turned the ball over an unbelievable 6 times.
A division that appeared to SO EASILY be a race between the Raiders and the Chargers before the week began, now doesn’t seam like so much of a certainty.
Don’t look now, ladies and gentleman, but the Kansas City Chiefs have now won 3 in a row, and are only 2 games out of the AFC West lead.

Is it possible that the QB/WR combo of Cam Newton and Steve Smith is already the best in the league?
If they aren’t the best, they’re pretty damn close.
Smitty was in BEAST mode ONCE AGAIN on Sunday, going for 143 yards on 7 catches.
Lost in the phenonemal rookie season of QB Cam Newton has been Steve Smith’s return to the top of the league’s reciever class.
Cam, by the way, was solid once again, going 18-23 for 257 yards and a passng TD, and also running for a TD. Accurate, mistake free football from Newton.
Newton’s rushing TD was his 7th on the season, and gave him the same amount of rushing TD’s as the ENTIRE Panthers’ team had last season.
Coming into the game, the Panthers were the league’s best 1-5 team. They left the game as the league’s best 2-5 team.
Baby steps….

Matt Forte was in BEAST mode on Sunday, going for 145 yards and a TD.
Lord only knows that the Bears will need Matt Forte in BEAST mode as often as possible as long as they have the suck ass piec of cry baby shit that is Jay Cutler under center….
The Bears win moved them to 4-3, and the loss dropped the Bucs to 4-3.

Despite the notoriously slow starting San Diego Chargers suprisingly good 4-2 start, I only need to know one thing to guage where I think this team stands. They have played two good teams, in the Pats and now the Jets, and they lost to both of them.
And let’s take a quick look at who they have beaten, shall we? Minnesota, Kansas City, Miami, and Denver.
Those tams have a combined 6-19 record.
YAY! Right?
Remaining on the Chargers schedule; @Kansas City, Green Bay, Oakland, @Chicago, Denver, @ Jacksonville, Buffalo, Baltimore, @Detroit, @Oakland
My opinion, best case scenario…10-6. Most likely, 9-7.
As for the Jets…I don’t like them. I hate Rex Ryan, and I’m sick of the main stream media sucking him off on a day to day basis. They have a far above average defense, and the mediocrity that is Mark Sanchez under center.
They, regardless of what the NEVER shy Rex Ryan will lead you to believe, are NOT going to the Super Bowl.
But they DO have a better chance of making a post season splash than the Chargers.
(A fact of note, ACTUALLY about the game…Plaxico Burress caught 3 TD passes for the Jets.)
