The South Carolina Gamecocks have been playin with fire ALL year long.

Narrow win over Navy, 4 INT’s tossed by Garcia against Vanderbilt, 103 points allowed in their first 4 games, including 37 to East Carolina.

A “so called” upset loss was only a matter of time.

The bottom line is, it wasn’t an upset anymore than South Carolina is just THAT overrated.

The AP and BCS have their tongues so far up Steve Spurrier’s ass that they can’t see that Spurrier has NEVER accomplished ANYTHING of substance anywhere but Florida, a school that is ALWAYS loaded with talent, ESPECIALLY then.

Their defense is extremely suspect, as witnessed by the EXTREME points totals that they have given up, and they have a quarterback who tosses it to the wrong color jersey with unbelievable regularity (thereby wasting the EXTREME recieving talent that is Alshon Jeffery).

Marcus Lattimore is a stud.

PERIOD.

But against top notch defenses, their is only so much that ONE runnin back can do when the opposing defense KNOWS that they can bring the heat and rattle Garcia’s innacurate ass.

They STILL have to play #18 Arkansas, they STILL have to play #12 Florida, and they still have to play my beloved #13 Clemson Tigers.

There is no way the Cocks win more than 9, and I believe 8 wins to be a far more realistic goal.

Bottom line, Gamecock fans, you are getting talent in your program now. You have a lousy QB, and when was the last time Spurrier actually made a QB, better?? Any pro QB success stories that any of you can remember? That would be a no.

They have weapons, they need a QB, and a better coach to coach him.

PERIOD.
