A new, less prestigious streak has begun

With a 10-5 loss at the hands of the Atlanta Braves today, and a 4-3 loss to the Braves yesterday, my beloved Yankees have now officially followed what had been a 10 game winning streak with what is NOW a 2 game losing streak.

Home runs by Derek Jeter, Eric Chavez, Alex Rodriguez, and Robinson Cano couldn’t stop the Yankees from falling to the Braves in the Bronx today.

Starter Phil Hughes couldn’t even get out of the 4th inning, as he allowed 6 runs, do in large part to 4 Atlanta Braves’ home runs, in 4 1/3 innings.
