It aint easy being brilliant...

After a 4 year witch hunt, with the sole purpose of proving that Roger Clemens, one of the best and most accomplished pitchers in the history of baseball, lied to a grand jury when he said that he had never taken steroids, the Roger Clemens case is over.

He was found not guilty.

The trial lasted 8 weeks. And the prosecution, despite calling on 46 witnesses, couldn’t convince a literally snoozing jury of Roger Clemens guilt.

Apparently the 2 jurors caught sleeping during this trial were as bored of this as me and EVERYBODY else was.

The trial cost hard working tax payers such as you and I an estimated $2-3 million.

All for nothing.

You went after Barry Bonds.

You LOST.

You went after Roger Clemens.

You LOST.

You are no doubt about to go after Lance Armstrong.

And without a failed drug test, you will lose that one as well.

You are 0-3.

That, will NOT get you into the Hall of Fame. And your accusations of Roger most likely won’t get HIM there, either.

So was THAT what it was all about?

Keeping a baseball player out of the most prestigious enshrinement in all of sports?

The war on doping is LOST.

There are FAR more important things in the World.
