I don’t THINK Andy Pettite’s injury is going to turn out to be a big deal, BUT….

DAMN our pitching staff has taken a BEATING this year!

We JUST put ace CC Sabathia on the DL. He is going to miss 2 starts and won’t return until after the all star break.

We JUST got David Robertson back. He was supposed to take over Mariano Rivera’s 9th inning role. Good think Soriano has been so wonderful in his absence.

We lost Mariano Rivera for the entire season. JUST the greatest closer in MLB history. No big deal, right?

We lost Joba Chamberlain before the season ever got started. I’m starting to think that Joba will never pitch in pinstripes again.

And yet, here we are! First place in the AL East. Just THINK where we would be with a COMPLETELY healthy pitching staff…

It’s GREAT to be a Yankees fan!

Life is good.
