I remember how flat out rediculous many of my friends were when Kobe changed his number from 8 to 24.

They were all like, “Damnit! What am I gonna do with my 8 jersey now?” I can’t wear this one now!”

And I’m all like, “just buy a new 24, and now the 8 that you have, is a throwback collector’s item.”

They were like, “everybody will laugh at me for wearing the 8.”

Apparently, these motherfuckers had never heard of throwback jerseys.

Some people…

I have 2 #8 Kobe jersey, and 3 #24 Kobe jerseys.

I love them all.

I don’t wear the 8’s anymore, but they still mean quite alot to me.
