I wonder if Albert Pujols EVER thought he would be over shadowed by a 20 year old in Los Angeles after signing his monster deal…

Mike Trout’s numbers:

.348 12 HR 40 RBI 28 SB .398 OBP .565 SLG .963 OPS

Albert Pujols’ numbers:

.268 14 HR 52 RBI 6 SB .334 OBP .458 SLG .792 OPS

Okay, so Albert Pujols will not end up being quite the monumental was of an enormous contract that Carl Crawford has been for the Red Sox. But he WILL have to sit back and watch his 20 year old teammate potentiall win a batting title AND AL MVP while he continues to stink up the show. Everyday the St. Louis Cardinals look smarter and smarter for letting Pujols walk.
