hahaha whatever. In what world does it make sense to let go of a global superstar for a dude who can’t even fit in his tank top?

3 years and $10 million for Raymond Felton.

4 years and $25 million for Lin, $14 mill in which is going to be paid to him in year 4. For what, 20 good games as a pro?

Lin is a global superstar NOW.

But it won’t stay that way.

The Knicks are a global brand with or without Lin, man.

The fact that they’ve managed to suck for the greater part of 3 decades and still be one of the 5 most valuable franchises in the world, PROVES that.

The Knicks have always made decisions based on selling tickets. Lin would’ve continued that tradition. By standing up and not worrying about pissing off your fan base because you genuinely believe this may be in the best interest of the team, is AT LEAST turning a corner in the way the Knicks do business.

If nothing else, WHY pay a pick and roll, isolation point guard who needs the ball in his hands in order to be successful $25 mill to pass the ball to Melo and NOT get it back?
