No team has EVER won an NBA championship without great players…
It’s NEVER happened.
The showtime Lakers had Magic, Kareem, and Worthy.
The 80’s Celtics had Bird, McHale, Parish, etc.
The 90’s Bulls had Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman.
The 2000’s Lakers had Shaq and Kobe.
The Spurs had Duncan, Parker, and Ginobili.
The most recent Celtics title team had Garnett, Allen, Pierce, and Rondo.
The most recent Lakers titles teams had Kobe, Pau, and Bynum.
Last years Heat had LeBron and Dwyane Wade.
The entire notion of “buying a championship” is simply rediculous. No team has ever taken the big trophy without at least 2 very good players.
Go down the list of champions and see for yourselves.
