What do you call a below .250 hitter that gets an all-star spot on hype and potential alone?

Bryce Harper.

.249, 11 homers, 34 RBI

Most teams have at least 3 or 4 players with number like that.

And I assure you that none of them were elected to the all-star team…

Bryce Harper may very well be a great ball player one day.

But today isn’t the day.
