The Red Sox should’ve found a way to keep Adrian Beltre…

Two nights after blasting 3 home runs in the first 4 innings against the Baltimore Orioles, Beltre hit for the cycle against the Minnesota Twins.
Beltre became the 2nd big leaguer in history to haveĀ a 3 homer game and hit for the cycle in a 7 day span. Joe DiMaggio was the other in 1948.
Beltre is hitting .316 with 24 homers and 77 RBI’s up to this point in the season.
If the pending trade with the Dodgers that would rid the Sox of the dreadful Josh Beckett and the monstrous contracts of Gonzalez, and Crawford falls through, they should look into discovering a time machine so they can return to the offseason following 2010 and keep Beltre.
This guy has a swing MADE for Fenway Park.
