The Nationals decision to sit Stephen Strasburg for the rest of the season is the single WORST decision in the history of sports

If they wanted to limit his innings,and the plan to do so was installed from the very beginning, then why didn’t they simply allow him to skip a start every now and then?

Or make sure that he never pitched beyond the 5th inning in any regular season game?

So that he could, you know, pitch in the playoffs when the games matter.

There is NO guarantee that the Nats will ever have another shot at a World Series, and Stephen Strasburg could just as easily re-injure his shoulder in the offseason doing some bullshit recreationaly as he could pitching.

The kid is healthy.

You know what you do with pro athletes when they are healthy?

YOU PLAY THEM.

You think the Lakers are going to NOT play Dwight Howard in the playoffs once he gets back because he had an injury once upon a time?
