wwe-espn-nascar asked: On Tuesday I want you to answer this question: Out of the teams that won today, who do u think has the BEST chance to go undefeated? and will a team not win any of their games this Season?

I sincerely wish every question that hit my inbox was this good.

For the 1st question, going into Week 1, in my opinion, the most complete teams in football were the 49ers, Patriots, Packers, Texans, Steelers, and Ravens. The Packers and Steelers each lost, so OBVIOUSLY neither of them is going undefeated.

Now to really dissect the question…For the 49ers, there are 4 potential speed bumps in their schedule. They have the Lions this week, the Giants in October, the Saints in November, and the Patriots in December. Seeing as how the Patriots were another of the team’s on my “most complete teams” list, the 49ers and Pats could eliminate each other from the conversation.

The Texans have big games against the Broncos, Packers, Ravens, Lions, and Patriots. As good as I believe the Texans to be, there is no way they go through those 5 teams undefeated.

The Ravens sure looked good against Cincy, didn’t they? I love the new no huddle offense, and Joe Flacco is surrounded by the best receiving corps they’ve ever had. But they have a game against the Patriots, 2 against the Steelers, Houston, Denver, and the Giants at season’s end when the G-Men ACTUALLY give a shit. They aren’t making it through that unscathed. Hell, history tells us that they are almost guaranteed to drop one of those two games to the Steelers.

The Patriots, is where it gets interesting. The Pats have a tough game week 3 at Baltimore, and they have Denver, Houston, and San Francisco ALL at home. How lucky is that schedule?? The game Dec. 16th at home, against the Niners, could decide whether or not any team goes undefeated this season.

In conclusion, I don’t think any teams are going undefeated this season. I think that both the Niners and Patriots are capable of 14-2. When all is said and done, they will have the best records in their respective conferences.

To answer your second question…for my money, the Colts, Jaguars, Rams, Browns, Dolphins, and Vikings were the league’s worst teams going into Week 1. The Vikings are the only one of this group that won, so while they may very well go 1-15, they obviously can’t go winless.

To really break it down, the Colts may have Andrew Luck, but he has pretty much nobody to throw it to, and the jury is out on whether or not he has Peyton Manning-like ability to make chicken salad out of chicken shit. The Colts have the Vikings, the Jags twice, the Browns, and the Dolphins. They will certainly knock off one of them, and may sweep the lowly Jags.

The Jags have Maurice Jones Drew. That is it. No threatening receivers to take the focus off of him, and no NFL defense respects QB Blaine Gabbert at this point. But the Jags have 2 games against the Colts, and one against the Dolphins. I’m gonna say they manage to squeak out a win in ONE of those games, but they could very well go winless.

The Rams shouldn’t be as bad as they were last year. Bradford is healthy, Stephen Jackson is still toting the rock, and they have 2 games against Seattle, one against Miami, one against Minnesota, and 2 against the Cardinals. They are gonna take at least 3 games, maybe 4.

The Dolphins are a total fucking mess. They traded Brandon Marshall, they made a mistake by naming Tannehill as their starter after Matt Moore did a pretty decent job for them down the stretch last season, and Reggie Bush is probably their best offensive weapon. They have games against St. Louis, Indy, and Jacksonville, and they could very well lose all of them. They have a very solid chance of going winless.

That brings me to the Cleveland Browns. Did you SEE the 12-35, 4 INT, miserable cluster fuck of a debut performance by Brandon Weeden??? That debut may have been the worst I’ve ever seen. The easiest game they have all season, is the Colts at Indy. And they could lose that one too.

It is my opinion that the Cleveland Browns WILL go winless in 2012, and the Dolphins may as well. Because the Browns schedule is tougher, I believe them to be more likely to go winless. 0-16 for the Browns, 1-15 for the Dolphins.
