NFL WEEK 5 IN REVIEW: Bears 41, Jaguars 3

The Chicago Bears offense doesn’t even need the ball to get the job done for the team.
Their defense has now scored 5 touchdowns in the last 2 games.
Jay Cutler threw for 292 yards and 2 TD’s, Matt Forte ran for 107 yards, Brandon Marshall made 12 catches for 144 yards and a TD, and the Bears defense returned 2 36 yard interceptions for touchdowns in a 41-3 BEAT DOWN of the now 1-4 Jaguars.
The Bears D held the Jags to only 10 first downs and 189 yards, and put up a whopping 501 yards of total offense on their way to a now 4-1 start.
Funny, just a few weeks ago, after a miserable Week 2 performance against the Packers that saw Cutler throw 4 interceptions in a Bears loss, fans and sports analysts everywhere were calling for Cutler’s head and acting as if this was the end of the world for the Bears.
Funny how a few weeks can change everything, huh?
Also, I remember being attacked by several Jags’ fans after the season preview that I posted predicted the Jags to be 3-13 and one of the worst teams in the league. They told me that I didn’t know what I was talking about. That they couldn’t take me seriously if I thought that the Jags were really that bad. Hell, a few of them even told me the Jags would win 7 or 8 games. Care to come at me now??
