It aint easy being brilliant...

Ok…so, Carson Palmer wants outs of Cincinatti.

You mean to tell me somebody doesn’t wanna play for the lowly Cincinatti Bengals??

Oh shit, say it ain’t so!!

Palmer apparently told someone;  “I have $80 million in the bank. I don’t have to play football for money. I’ll play it for the love of the game but that would have to be elsewhere. I’m prepared to live my life.” And also apparently saying that he would ”never set foot in Paul Brown Stadium again.” For thos of you who don’t know, that is the name of the Cincinatti Bengals home stadium.

First of all, no better way to make your fans, who can barely afford to buy a replica of your jersey let alone by tickets to one of your games, than to tell them that you’ve got $80 mill in the bank, right?? Dude, I make less than $30 grand a year to bust my ass day in and day out in a food distribution warehouse for the restaraunt industry! I DON’T FEEL SORRY FOR YOU!!!!

We get it, you’re advancing in your career, and you know that your chanes to win a super bowl are decreasing every year, but PLEASE don’t remind the fans of you and YOUR team that you don’t need their sorry asse because you’re LOADED!

I read online where someone compared this to the Carmelo Anthony situation….

Here’s why these two situations are different:

1. Carmelo never threatened retirement if not traded
2. Carmelo never rubbed it in our faces how much bank he had
3. Carmelo ended up EXACTLY where he wanted to be, I doubt that is gonna happen for Palmer

So, for my money, in comparison to Palmer, Melo comes out smelling like a “Bath and Body Works.”

As for Carson’s “value” to the team; Bengals finished last WITH YOU….they can almost certainly match that without you!

Shutup and play ball, and MAYBE you will get your trade, or just go away and enjoy your fuckin $80 million dollars!
