NFL WEEK 6 IN CAPTION:

NFL WEEK 2 IN CAPTION:

Raiders gotta start this man
A post from a Raiders fan before the acquisition of Carson Palmer…..
You think that this person would like to have this one back????
Terrelle Pryor will be lucky to ever evn see a clipboard and head set on the sidelines, now.
Maybe they will let him clean Palmer’s jock and carry his pads now….
Carson, WHATEVER you do, DON’T go to ANY tattoo shops with THIS man!
Carson Palmer to Raiders
Al Davis may be dead, but his “Just win, baby!” spirit lives on.
The Oakland Raiders acquired veteran QB Carson Palmer from the Cincinatti Bengals for a 1st round pick n 2012 and a 2nd round pick in 2013.
Before the season started, Carson Palmer demanded to be traded from the Bengals, and vowed to retire from the NFL unless the Bengals met his demands.
The Bengals said that they would not trade Palmer, under any circumstances, and that he would play for them or nobody at all.
Up until this week, the Bengals didn’t budge, neither did Palmer.
You have to think that several things went into changing the Bengals’ minds:
- Their 4-2 start
- The immediate stellar play of rookie QB Andy Dalton
- The stellar offer made by the Raiders
Make no mistake, the Bengals are for more likely to be the winners of this deal long term than the Raiders are.
Carson Palmer is 31 years old, is 2 years removed from surgery, his play hasn’t been the same since before the surgery, he is coming off of a career high 20 interceptions last season, and he hasn’t played a single down this season.
The Bengals get two high draft picks to add to a young team QB’d by a stellar young Andy Dalton.
The Raiders, in true Al Davis form, are taking ALL of the risk here.
If Palmer returns to pre-2008 form and turns the Raiders into Super Bowl contenders, the Raiders brass will look like geniuses.
If Palmer tanks, the Raiders suck, and the Bengals draft 2 young guys that help propel them to a series of playoff runs, the Bengals brass will look like geniuses.
The Raiders are tossing the last second hail mary, they are going for it all.
Al Davis wouldn’t have it ANY other way.
$80 million Blues…

Ok…so, Carson Palmer wants outs of Cincinatti.
You mean to tell me somebody doesn’t wanna play for the lowly Cincinatti Bengals??
Oh shit, say it ain’t so!!
Palmer apparently told someone; “I have $80 million in the bank. I don’t have to play football for money. I’ll play it for the love of the game but that would have to be elsewhere. I’m prepared to live my life.” And also apparently saying that he would ”never set foot in Paul Brown Stadium again.” For thos of you who don’t know, that is the name of the Cincinatti Bengals home stadium.
First of all, no better way to make your fans, who can barely afford to buy a replica of your jersey let alone by tickets to one of your games, than to tell them that you’ve got $80 mill in the bank, right?? Dude, I make less than $30 grand a year to bust my ass day in and day out in a food distribution warehouse for the restaraunt industry! I DON’T FEEL SORRY FOR YOU!!!!
We get it, you’re advancing in your career, and you know that your chanes to win a super bowl are decreasing every year, but PLEASE don’t remind the fans of you and YOUR team that you don’t need their sorry asse because you’re LOADED!
I read online where someone compared this to the Carmelo Anthony situation….

Here’s why these two situations are different:
- Carmelo never threatened retirement if not traded
- Carmelo never rubbed it in our faces how much bank he had
- Carmelo ended up EXACTLY where he wanted to be, I doubt that is gonna happen for Palmer
So, for my money, in comparison to Palmer, Melo comes out smelling like a “Bath and Body Works.”
As for Carson’s “value” to the team; Bengals finished last WITH YOU….they can almost certainly match that without you!
Shutup and play ball, and MAYBE you will get your trade, or just go away and enjoy your fuckin $80 million dollars!
