BALLER OF THE NIGHT (Feb. 11)

Yes, the New York Knicks won this game, and YES, the fucking LINsanity continued. But Kevin Love had 32 points and 21 rebounds, and as much as I don’t like giving this award to a player on a losing team, those numbers simply CANNOT be ignored.
Mavericks 104, Timberwolves 97 (Feb. 10)

Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, I may be jumping the gun on this one, but the Dallas Mavericks appear to be headed closer to the form that won the NBA title last season.
Dirk Nowitzki ACTUALLY LOOKS like Dirk Nowitzki again, after a beginning to the season that saw him out of shape, and almost certainly suffering from NBA Championship hangover.
Dirk had 33 points in the Mavs victory, and not even the 32 points and 12 boards from the returning Kevin Love could deter the Mavs march to victory on THIS night.
BALLER OF THE NIGHT (Jan. 29)

Kobe Bryant had 35 points and a season high 14 rebounds in a rare Lakers road victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
HOLY SHIT! My beloved Lakers actually WON a ROAD game!!!
AND they scored over 100 points!
BOUT
DAMN
TIME!

BALLER OF THE NIGHT (Jan. 23)

Kevin Love had 39 points and 12 board in a T-Wolves 107-92 loss.
Timberwolves 101, Clippers 98 (Jan. 20)

By FAR, the NBA’s Game of the Day.
The T-Wolves outscored the Clippers 53-39 at Staples Center to pick up th 3 point dub, and STUN the LA crowd on national television.
Darko Milicic came out of NOWHERE to have the ABSOLUTE game of his life on Friday night. The damn near forgotten, former NBA draft BUST had 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks, BOTH of Clippers high flyer Blake Griffin on Friday night.
THEN there is the most talked about rookie in the NBA, Ricky Rubio.
Rubio had a dreadful first 3 quarters, and hit ONLY ONE shot, the ENTIRE game.
But that ONE shot just so happened to be a 3 pointer that TIED the game at 98 with a mere 20 seconds remaining.
Rubio followed that shot with a solid defensive play on Clippers’ guard Chauncey Billups to force a miss, and give the ball to the Wolves with a mere 1.5 seconds remaining.
Before I tell you how the game ended, I should remind ALL of you that the double double machine that IS Kevin Love, shoots nearly 40% from behind the arc.
The Wolves inbounded the ball from the sideline, directly to Kevin Love, and Love DRAINED a 25 foot 3 pointer, ALL net with NO time remaining on the clock to give the Wolves a 3 point dub, and send “Lob City” home disapointed.
Love finished the game with 17 points and 14 rebounds, and the resurgent, and all of the sudden relevant Minnesota Timberwolves improved to 7-8 on the season.
Anonymous asked: Yes. He deserves it. I love watching players that give it their all.
Me too!
I just wish I got to see Love play more often!
I’ve got a feeling that with Love, and Rubio, we will be seeing the T-Wolves on TV a lot more in the upcoming years!
I would KILL to have this guy in forum blue and gold!
Anonymous asked: I was rooting for the Clips, but Kevin Love is a fucking BEAST!!
A MONSTER!!!!!
There isn’t ANYTHING this guy doesn’t do just as well, if not better than every other player in the league.
What can you do to stop him?
Foul him?
NO.
Dude, unlike almost every other big man in the league, is fuckin 81% free throw shooter!
Force him behind the arc?
NOPE.
Dude is nearly a 40% three point shooter!
The Timberwolves need to lock this cat up long term NOW, before they think about doing ANYTHING else!
PAY THIS MAN!!!!!
PAY KEVIN LOVE MAX MONEY, NOW!!!!

KEVIN MOTHERFUCKIN LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!!!
Gam winning 3 at thebuzzer!
Stick THAT in your pipe and SMOKE it, Clippers fans!!!
WOW!
HUGE shot, Ricky Rubio!!!!
Rubio’s 3 pointer ties the game at 98, with 20 seconds to go!
WOW.
I like this kid!
BALLER OF THE NIGHT (Jan. 16)

Kevin Love had 33 points and 11 rebounds in a T-Wolves victory over the Sacramento Kings.
Hawks 93, Timberwolves 91 (Jan. 14)

Joe Johnson lead the Atlanta Hawks with 25 points, and the Atlanta Hawks outscored the T-Wolves by 10 points in the 4th quarter to pick up a 2 point victory on a T-Wolves team that is HEAVY on talent, and LIGHT on clutch, down th stretch performers.
Kevin Love had 30 and 13 for the Wolves in a losing effort.
The victory imroved the Hawks record to 9-4 on the season.
Bulls 111, Timberwolves 100 (Jan. 10)

The reigning MVP, Derrick Rose did what reigning MVP’s do on Tuesday night.
D-Rose went for 31 points and 11 assists and set an example for all aspiring point guards such as his rookie counterpart, Ricky Rubio, on Tuesday night.
Rubio, by the way, wasn’t too shabby himself, going for 13 points and 12 assists.
So…we ALL know that there is SOMETHING different about this year’s T-Wolves squad, but FEW know what it is. They are OBVIOUSLY more talented, they are OBVIOUSLY more fun to watch, but the results are yet to catch up to the obvious talent and potential.
Just one thought on the aspiring T-Wolves…Luke Ridnour should NEVER lead your team in scoring again.
The Wolves will get there. Many are just confused as to why they aren’t there now.
Raptors 97, Timberwolves 87 (Jan. 9)

Is it possible that the Toronto Raptors are ACTUALLY better than I thought they were?
Sure it is.
Because the 4 wins they have now are only a handful away from the total I was sure that they would finish the season with.
The Timberwolves, on paper, seam to be where they need to be.
However, something is obviously missing.
They have Kevin Love, a rapidly emerging Ricky Rubio, and Michael Beasly, who as long as he isn’t jacking up 25 shots a game can be a valuable Wolves 2nd option.
The pieces are there, they are just waiting for the results to catch up.
Andrea Bargnani had 31 points to help lead the Raptors to victory.
